DK Bags & Clothes

Design philosophy

Function is part of the design.

Most bags hide their working parts. DK shows them. Pockets, closures, compartments, straps and construction are treated as the architecture of the object — visible, deliberate and in proportion with one another.
  1. Function

    Every element has a reason.

If a pocket exists, it has a job. If it has a job, it should be easy to reach. Nothing is added for decoration alone.

  2. Architecture

    Geometry creates identity.

Clear planes, strong silhouettes and pockets of different sizes set in considered relation — a structure recognisable across a room.

  3. Culture

    Cities set the brief.

The pace of a place, how people move through it and what they carry inform the proportion, colour and mood of each model.

  4. Versatility

The object adapts to real life.

Hand, shoulder, cross-body. Work, travel, evening. A bag should follow the day rather than interrupt it.
